The date a domain's current registration period ends, from its WHOIS/RDAP record. Registrations are typically bought in 1-10 year blocks and renewed before this date to keep the domain.

Counted from today to the expiration date shown above. A negative count means the date has already passed - see "What happens after expiration" below for what that does and doesn't mean.

What happens after expiration

An expired domain isn't instantly available to register. Most registries run an auto-renew grace period first (the original owner can still renew, sometimes with a late fee), then often a redemption period, then a short pending-delete window - together commonly 30-75+ days depending on the registry, before the name is finally released.

Not a backorder or drop-catching service

This tool only reports the expiration date it finds - it doesn't monitor, alert, or attempt to register a domain the moment it becomes available. Dedicated backorder services exist for that.
